Visualization Center C
We’re excited to welcome you to the Visualization Center C in Norrköping — a digital science center with a state-of-the-art stereoscopic planetarium, driven as a partnership between the Norrköping municipality and Linköping University. This partnership turns the dome into a dual-use space as it is used simultaneously for shows open to the public while at the same time serving as a testbed for the university education.
Norrköping is an old industrial town located about 90 minutes south of Stockholm. Summer is an amazing time for a visit: during the days of the meeting there will be around 14.5 hours of daylight and only 3.5 hours of true night. More information about potential other places to visit during your trip is available on the Visit Sweden website (or a more humorous take at Sweden not Switzerland).

Travel & where to stay
Getting there
Norrköping is very easy to reach internationally. Some recommended routes:
Stockholm Arlanda (ARN)
A major international hub with air service to many European and international destinations. It takes about 2 hours to reach Norrköping from Arlanda by train and the service is fast and reliable. Tickets can be booked through the national railway services SJ and the stations are called “Arlanda Flygplats” and “Norrköping Central”. Prices for the train vary, by should be around 400-600 SEK / 40-60€ for a returning trip. If you are staying a few days in Stockholm, its main station is called “Stockholm Central”.
Linköping City Airport (LPI)
A local airport that has direct connections to Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS), one of Europe’s main airline hubs. It is also the airfield that houses SAAB, which provides Sweden’s fighter aircraft. Transfer to Norrköping takes about 35 minutes in total. The easiest way is to take a taxi to the Linköping central station, which costs about 200 SEK / 20€ and a train ticket from “Linköping Central” to “Norrköping Central” for another 80 SEK / 8€.
